SUMMARY:Joint EuCNC & 6G Summit
DESCRIPTION:The 2021 Joint EuCNC & 6G Summit\, initiated this year\, builds on putting together two successful conferences in the area of telecommunications: EuCNC\, in its 30th edition of a series\, supported by the European Commission; the 6G Summit\, in its 3rd edition\, originated from the 6G Flagship programme in Finland\, one of the very first in its area. The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society and by the European Association for Signal Processing\, and focuses on all aspects of telecommunications ranging from 5G deployment and mobile IoT to 6G exploration and future communications systems and networks\, including experimentation and testbeds\, and applications and services. It brings together cutting-edge research and world-renown industries and businesses\, globally attracting in the last years more than 1 300 delegates from more than 40 countries all over the world\, to present and discuss the latest results\, and an exhibition space of more than 1 500 m2 with more than 70 exhibitors\, for demonstrating the technology developed in the area\, namely within research projects from EU R&I programmes. \n \n \nThe Organizing Committee\, with full support of the European Commission\, currently plans on holding the conference in Porto with a full in-person attendance. We will keep regularly monitoring the situation related to COVID-19 and update the website accordingly\, as soon as new information is made available. The format of the event may change to remote attendance or to a mixed one\, depending on the conditions\, since safety and well-being of all conference participants is our top priority. \n \n \nThe deadline to submit a paper to the conference\, as well as proposals for workshops\, special sessions and tutorials is 29 January 2021. \n \n \nClick here for more information.

DESCRIPTION:20-22 April 2021 \n5GMETA is glad to announce its participation in the EUCAD Conference. The European Commission\, together with the ARCADE project\, is pleased to announce the third European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving\, which will be held virtually from 20 to 22 April 2021. \n \n \nEUCAD 2021 will be a high-level and evidence-based conference where policy challenges meet innovative solutions to deliver on societal benefits. The event is the only conference in Europe that brings together political leaders from the European Commission and Member States with high-level representatives of industry\, knowledge institutes and road authorities to exchange knowledge and experience on the most recent technological developments and policies in the area of CCAM. \n \n \nOver the course of three days\, the following topics will be discussed: \n \n \n\nThe vision and objectives of the upcoming CCAM Partnership;\nThe role of R&I to answer specific policy goals and societal issues\, illustrating the need for European political and technological leadership in developing cooperative\, connected and automated mobility solutions;\nExploring the way forward towards CCAM implementation by identifying next challenges through multisector cooperation;\n\n \n \nRegistration to the conference is free and are open until 19 April.
